US:
United State is surrounded by oceans. There are two major oceans surrounded it are Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean. They are  push factors that develop United State. Oceans support fishing, shipping, trading. Oceans contain  great amount of resources which help  country develop. US have lots of mines which  sell with lots of money. (Coal, Diamond, Zinc, Silver, Oil and Natural Gas). The longest river of America is Mississippi. It runs through ten states of America which support lots of life near the river or beside the bank. Mississippi river controls  huge life cycle system. There are many types of fishes, vegetations and silt which build up ten states.  There is a lake that is containing largest amount of fresh water lake in the whole world which known as Great Lake. There is a major quantity of water, aquatic animals, vegetation. Those are huge amount of food for the ten states. Mountain range also good factors that help America develop. It helps US physical against natural disasters which occur every year.
Viet Nam:
Vietnam also surrounded by water, East Sea. There are huge amount of aquatic animals live in East Sea. It supports Vietnam for about one thousand years ago. It also the great border to protect Viet Nam out of enemies. But settle near sea or water also has a bad consequence. Natural Disaster, tsunami, typhoon are major issue that many politicians worry about it for many decades. Viet Nam is a tropical country. Farming is easy for Vietnamese. They grow, harvest crops every years. We started to farming for two thousand two hundred years ago. Farming is the only way for Vietnam escape out of famine. With a normal altitude, fertile soil and humid, farming is easy for farmers. But sometimes, when there is too hot, drought appear and it cause famine at some place, it cause agriculture production price increase. Viet Nam land has lots of resources, which are for selling for money, which are for life. Such as: coal, gold, oil, natural gas, zinc, silver, bauxite. We use and export it to foreign for money or trade. Mekong River is the only life source of farmer in the South Western Vietnam. They farming there, the river provide silt, fertile soil for land, water for irrigation, aquatic animal for food source. Mekong support Viet Nam life hundreds of year.

 This is the street that I go to school everyday, It near market, restaurant, school, shop, hospital and it also connect District 1 to district 7. Chinese people mostly are there because it near District 5.

This is also one of my street to go to school. It is a range of office
for businesses. Many stores, shops and restaurants are here. It have a good view with trees in the front.It also connect to District 7. Many Foreign people live here. France, American, Chinese, and little of Australian. It is a heaven of business and real estate.

 This is the picture of my apartment. It near District 7 so it easy to go there. It also has lots of Americans, England and New Zealand.

You can't run without your legs,
but water can do it, it run from mountains, into streams and then rivers it run into your house while you sleeping.

Crime are digging holes to escape the dead but
water don't do that, they infiltration, go to the ground, water escape into ground water like that.

Goal for this year

1.) What you did over summer?

_All over summer, it was totally boring. At the end of June I and my mother went to US to visit my grandmother who was sick and just had the brain surgery in April. When I arrived to Washington State in US, it was really fun. All of my cousins are there. We played and shared together. We went to Mount Rainier that was the first time that I felt the cold of snow. It was cool when you walked on ice on bare feet. And then, I went to LA to go to Universal Studio and Disneyland. Now, I could believe that US was a huge country. Everything was amazing huge. Even a small bowl of Pho was big as X-large bowl of Pho in Viet Nam. Universal Studio and Disneyland were a lot bigger than Dam Sen or Suoi Tien. In there was really fun. I could play every game that was free. I came back to Viet Nam on 15 July. After a big trip, I could learn lots of thing. I could learn English, culture, and especially a sense of civic responsibility. They didn’t throw trashes like Vietnamese people. After the trip, I just stayed at home all day long and was forced to study but I didn’t know what to study. When I at home, my life like in the jail. Home like life-sentence, at school like temporary jail.

2.) What are you most/least looking forward to this year in Social Studies?  

In this year, I hope I will learn History of America. There are many battles there. George Washington and many other president was create the powerful country and leaded the society became undefeated. War and civil war wasn’t fallen down. But I things that I least looking for this year is about Crusade and Muslim. I have studied it with Mr. Jeff last year. It was really boring.
